How to invite your teammates

Steps to Invite a Teammate

1. Log in to Atlas

Start by navigating to the  Atlas CRM  website. Enter your username and password to sign in to your account.

2. Access the Settings Menu

Once you're logged in, look to the top-right corner of your dashboard. Click on your profile avatar to open a dropdown menu. From there, select Settings. This is where you’ll manage all aspects of your Atlas CRM account.

3. Go to the Users Section

In the Settings panel, find and click on Users. Here, you’ll see a list of all the current team members in your workspace. This section allows you to manage user roles, permissions, and invitations.

4. Invite a New Teammate

Ready to add someone new? Click the Invite Teammate button. A form will appear where you can:

  • Enter the Teammate’s Email Address: Make sure to input the correct email to avoid any delivery issues.
  • Assign a Role: Choose the appropriate role for your teammate, such as Admin, Member, or Viewer, depending on their responsibilities. Advanced role permissions are only available on the Pro and Enterprise plans.
  • Send Invitation: Once you’ve filled in the details, click Send Invitation. Your teammate will receive an email invitation shortly.

5. Teammate Receives an Invitation Email

Your invited teammate will get an email from Atlas CRM containing a link to set up their account. They’ll need to:

  • Define Their Password: Click the link in the email and follow the instructions to create a secure password.
  • Complete Registration: Fill in any additional required information to finalize their account setup.

6. Confirmation and Access

After setting their password, your teammate can log in to Atlas CRM using their new credentials. They’re now ready to collaborate and contribute to your team’s projects right away!

Troubleshooting

Sometimes things don’t go as smoothly as planned. Here are a few common issues and how to resolve them:

Didn’t Receive the Invitation Email?

  • Check Spam or Junk Folder: Ask your teammate to look in their spam or junk email folders.
  • Resend the Invitation: Go back to the Users section, find the pending invitation, and select Resend Invite.
  • Verify the Email Address: Ensure that the email address you entered is correct and free of typos.
  • Reset the Password: On the login page, click Forgot Password and follow the prompts to reset it.
